Marty has been in the financial services industry for over 28 years. His career started with Dain Bosworth in 1994 as a financial advisor. Marty later opened an office for Dain in 1997 as the youngest branch manager in company history. His accomplishments include receiving recognition as a Top 10 branch and was awarded branch manager of the year in 2008. As an advisor Marty was recognized as Top 40 under 40 financial advisor by On Wall Street in 2007. Marty was co-chair of the Boys and Girls Club capital campaign in Gig Harbor and has been on the board of Mary Bridge Hospital and donates time at the YMCA and coaching youth sports. Marty is married to his high school sweetheart Stacy and they have four children. In his free time, he enjoys being with his family and competing in triathlons.
Prior to joining Lighthouse Wealth Strategies, Brian was a Financial Advisor with Northwest Asset Management from August 2012 to March 2015 and RBC Wealth Management from 1985 until August 2012. He also worked at Boettcher and Co. for three years in the same capacity. He managed the Silverdale office of RBC from 2000 to 2002. Brian has been a member of the Chairman’s and President’s Council of RBC Wealth Management, and was on the Broker’s Advisory Council for four years, two of those years serving as President. He is currently a member of the board of the Admiral Theatre in Bremerton, a member of the Gig Harbor Rotary, and past board member of the Bremerton Family YMCA and Young Life organization. Brian has been happily married for 39 years and has three children, one of which, Brady, is his business partner.
George was raised with his brother and sister in the Bay Area of California. George met and fell in love with Cindy, marrying her in 1978, and together they moved to Gig Harbor in 1979. George and Cindy have two grown children. Kristin owns a home building/interior design business, and Greg is a professionally trained Sous Chef in Seattle. George began his career as a financial advisor in 1985, shortly after graduating from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington with a bachelor’s degree in business. George and Cindy enjoy traveling and their granddaughters Parker and Fiona and grandson Emerson. Food has always been a passion in their lives and George and Cindy are always trying new foods and recipes on their unsuspecting guests.
Kim has been in the financial services industry since 1991 beginning her career with Dain Bosworth, now RBC Wealth Management, in Billings, Montana. She moved to Gig Harbor in 1997 at the opening of their new office location joining Marty Paul, her now partner in business. Kim is a managing member of Lighthouse Wealth Strategies and serves as the Chief Compliance Officer. Kim is dedicated to helping clients achieve financial freedom and peace of mind through a planning process that includes building portfolios designed for income to provide strength during the accumulation phase and supplement income during retirement. She creates customized financial plans that are focused on individual needs, goals and risk tolerance.Kim is married to Joe, a Tacoma native, and has one son, Levi. Levi is married to his high school sweetheart, Taelor, and they have two sons, Bodhi and Benny. Together their family enjoys biking, skiing and spending their time in the mountains. Kim is on the Board of Empowering Life, a faith based organization working with incarcerated women to encourage and support their growth in life and faith.
Brady has had the honor and privilege of serving people in the Finance/Investment Industry since 2008. His mission is to help people grow in financial peace and prosperity through financial planning, investment management, historical perspective and behavioral counseling. Brady is a graduate of the Jackson School at the University of Washington and the Albers School MBA Program at Seattle University. Brady grew up in Bremerton and now resides in Gig Harbor. He is joyfully married to his best friend, Katherine Julieth, and they have three precious and beautiful children named Tomás, who is 4 years old, Isabella, who is 2, and Julieta, who is newborn. Outside of family and work some of his passions include community service (Deacon of Resurrection Church in Gig Harbor/Tacoma, Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor), traveling (Katherine is Colombian, and in a way international travel brought them together), and sports (Seahawks, UW Huskies, Mariners and golf).
Ron graduated from Eastern Washington University on a Pac 10 baseball scholarship with degrees in Finance and Marketing. He met his wife soon after college and together they launched into life. Ron began his career in 1992 holding seminars and growing his business one client at a time through planning, service and relationships. The clients he gained from those seminars are still clients today, a testament to his dedication and advice. Ron enjoys all aspects of sports and it is no surprise all 5 of his children are active in athletics. He has coached each one of them at some point in baseball/softball, basketball and/or soccer. He has earned Coach of the Year on many occasions at the local, regional and State levels. Ron has over 25 years of experience in the financial field. His knowledge, compassion and commitment to his clients, as well as his competitive nature, drives him to build financial plans that are focused and have direction.
Brian earned his BS in business finance from the University of Washington and began his career as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch in 1984. Having grown up in Lakewood, he moved to Gig Harbor in 1993 and has been here ever since. His wife, Nicci, was born and raised in the Purdy/Gig Harbor area. Brian and Nicci have three children and three grandchildren, so far! They are very active in skiing and boating around the beautiful Puget Sound.
A graduate of the University of Washington with a B.A. in Economics, Karsten has assisted clients with their Wealth Management needs since 2000. He started with Morgan Stanley, working with his father Roy Caviezel, and brother Kelly. Roy Caviezel spent 35 years working with Dean Witter which became Morgan Stanley before retiring in 2001. Karsten’s primary focus is building balanced portfolios, and designing strategies for retirement planning. Karsten & his wife Julie have three children, Peyton, Lola and Truitt. He enjoys spending time with his family which includes skiing, trips to the Oregon Coast, and coaching their youth soccer teams.
Serving clients as a financial advisor for 25 years, Kelly enjoys working with individuals and families, providing personalized advice through a disciplined wealth management approach. His extensive financial background enables him to help clients achieve their retirement goals, while building a diversified investment portfolio. A graduate of Western Washington University, Kelly began his career in the financial services industry with Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor in 1997. Throughout his career, Kelly has developed a strong understanding of economics and financial markets and is well versed in equity, tax efficient, and fixed income investments. By advising his clients on how to help effectively grow, preserve, and transition their wealth, he has earned a reputation for being a valued advisor. A resident of Sumner, Kelly enjoys working with various charitable organizations including the American Diabetes Association, spending time with his family, outdoor activities, playing golf, and trips to Cannon Beach, Oregon.
Zac graduated from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business with a BS in Operations and Supply Chain management. Since transitioning from his prior firm in Salt Lake City, Zac has had the opportunity to work alongside his partner and father, Marty, as well as other long-time mentors at Lighthouse. Being a 4th generation Finholm, Zac’s family history in Gig Harbor runs deep and he now has the pleasure of serving his community. Zac is dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals and approaching retirement, education planning, estate planning and other life milestones with confidence. In his free time, Zac is an avid snow skier and surfer and enjoys being active outdoors.
Megan has been in the financial industry for almost 20 years, beginning her career with UBS Financial Services in Seattle. She grew up in Olympia and lived throughout Western Washington before settling in the Tacoma area. Megan met her husband, Tyrone, while they were both students at the University of Washington. They now live in University Place with their 8 year old daughter, Mikaela, and 3 year old boxer, Harlow. In her spare time, Megan loves spending time with her family, hiking, & reading.
Audree joined Lighthouse Wealth Strategies in 2015. She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a bachelor’s degree in education and has spent her early professional career teaching elementary school, and then becoming Director of a local non-profit preschool. Audree volunteers as a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and enjoys taking her “little sister” on different adventures in the Pacific Northwest. In her free time Audree enjoys spending time with her grown sons and family and friends. She is an avid reader, enjoys home design, and visiting her hometown of Kalispell, Montana.

Bitsy, short for Elizabeth, graduated from Washington State University with a BA in Business/Hotel Restaurant Management. She met her husband, Scott, at WSU, where his career took them to many places but finally settled in Gig Harbor to raise their 3 daughters. Lauren graduated from Washington State University, lives and works in Seattle. Sophia graduated from Washington State University in Nursing and works in Seattle. Ella is a student at University of Arizona. Bitsy enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, running and cooking.
